We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who’s ready to hit the ground running. The right Operations Manager will go above and beyond to remove any obstacles that stand in the way. You will work closely with the Branch Manager with the implementation of new projects and initiatives and provide ongoing support to maximize financial performance, optimize standard operations procedure, improve efficiency, and elevate the customers experience

Operations Manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards on all projects and with superintendents. The Operations Manager provides senior project leadership on assignment of projects.  Responsibilities include tracking job direct gross profit, maintaining safety policy, and preserving client relationships.  Travel is required. Position reports to a Vice President. This position will provide you 1 year of training at a established location and then you would support a Branch. 

  • Reports to the Branch Manager and supports the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Monitor labor costs and efficiency and institute a system for tracking and providing feedback of same.
  • Oversee the areas of responsibility and ensure they operate in an efficient, productive manner.
  • Generate new revenue streams by bringing in new business relationships.
  • Ensure we remain in compliance with all regulations related to the areas of responsibility.
  • Able to communicate well externally with existing and potential new customers. Responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities.
  • Evaluates appropriate information to forecast the return on future business transactions.
  • Designs and determines terms of business agreements.
  • Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
  • Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by management. Creates business strategies to facilitate company growth.
  • Manage and implement operations projects, ensuring all deliverables, budgets and deadlines are met. Work cross-functionally with Branch Manager to support implementation and communication of company initiatives.
  • Create, update and communicate Policy & Procedures and User Guides in partnership with subject matter experts to ensure compliance and minimize risk exposure.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years management experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Construction Sales or Marketing
  • Ability to problem solve, multitask and think outside of the box to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while being able to execute on a tactical level
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to understand complex business situations and disseminate information to all parties with clarity and urgency
  • Be able to understand basic construction and be knowledgeable of product
  • Basic negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be self-motivator to achieve annual and monthly sales goals
  • Positive personality and able to present proposals in effective manner
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office productions including, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and is well organized Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report to be completed, contingent upon employment
