Job Summary

This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities necessary to process company-wide workers’ compensation claims.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Administration of claims by working directly with the insurance company claims management team, injured worker, medical facilities, and branch locations.
  • Point of contact for company branch locations concerning workers’ compensation claims.
  • Maintain workers’ compensation database and claim files.
  • Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and accident investigations.
  • Participate in claim review meetings with insurance broker and carrier.
  • Over-night travel for occasional meetings. (Optional)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations, multi-state experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

*Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report to be completed, contingent upon employment.
